Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, Linus’ path to a life in the mountains was not always very linear. Growing up in the city, Linus seized every opportunity that presented itself to ski in the mountains of northern Sweden during his youth. Eventually his fascination with travelling and the mountains led him to Nepal and Patagonia where he eventually landed a job working remote mountaineering expeditions. His path towards ski guiding started in Patagonia working with Ben Johns and Nick D'Alessio and soon after that he decided to move to British Columbia to pursue his ACMG certifications. Today Linus is an ACMG Apprentice Ski Guide and an Avalanche Practitioner with the Canadian Avalanche Association. His summers are spent hiking guiding in Wells Gray Provincial Park and exploring the mountains of BC in his free time with his wife Natalie and their son Finn.
